Good lookin' family you have there! And thanks for your comment- Susan Power is one of my favorite Native Authors. Have you ever read anything by Louise Erdrich? She is one of my heroes. In college I studied and taught Ojibwe language, and she is one of the most beautiful and influential people I met during my studies! Also- if you're interested in this sorta thing I will also recommend Vine Deloria Jr (who unfortunately left us due to a heart attack in 2006.) He is the most affluent and articulate person I have ever read and listened to... I had the honor of going to a lecture of his and it was unbelievable :)
P.s. Susan Power wrote "the grass dancer," not green grass running water... I think that was Thomas King, right? Oops. Both good, both on my bookshelf waiting to be read again.
