vote fuck you

Nobody reads anymore.
We are a generation deprived of heroes.
Who is saying anything?
Who is doing anything?
Everybody is too busy dying their hair and figuring out who is going to win Top Model 6. or 7. Who can remember? Tyra.

The government has won.
We as a country have completely succumbed to a "totalitarian" democracy. It is a fucking joke. Flip a coin. Heads or tails. Hitler or Stalin. Black or white. McCain or Obama. Shit or Piss. Dicks or Cunts.

Our country by definition has a "representative democracy" (in that it resembles a democracy, but even in its own definition is NOT truly a democracy) It's like when a parent deceives their child by letting them have some choice, let’s say carrots or broccoli when the fucking kid wants an ice cream cone. But that's not a choice. (Even though all the kid would need to do is punch their parent in the face and reach for the freezer) But nobody does that. Why? Would anything happen? It is not the fear of the parent itself but the imposed fear the parent has placed on the child. In reality, if the child punched their parent in their face and ate an ice cream cone, what's the worst that could happen?
Everyone looks to the beloved coin to represent some kind of change. (heh, pun intended)
Everyone is too busy looking at Senator White and Senator Black; they don't realize how many others like them are standing around looking in the same direction. If they would simply turn their heads, take notice of how many people are entering the poll booths disgruntled and organize a big fucking STOP SIGN, what would happen?
If everybody voted what would happen? I don't know, perhaps the government would determine the outcome anyway (see: Electoral College or Florida 2000)
Or, we would simply end up with heads or tails. Yippee.
If NOBODY voted what would happen? I can't even wrap my mind around it because I am stuck by this huge flashing sign that reads "It would never happen!" But let's just say that's been said before, this coined term "it would never happen" like maybe "...It would never happen" (in reference to a black person winning the presidency?") Or "...It would never happen" (in reference to a man of god molesting a child?"
I choose not to be discouraged by it would never happen. Because it absolutely NEEDS to happen.

hence i've given up on politics. so many things need to happen. so many things (next to all of them) aren't what they're called. fucking misnomers. it's all such a fucking scam. sham. and i alone can't do anything to change it. so i've done what comes naturally to me and a startling majority: i've given up. i choose to focus my energy on other more trivial tasks that allow me an easy out should my ways be questioned. =) such a happy existence... all i have to do equal a damn right parenthese and everything is just dandy. i could spend my life fighting for a cause. the outcomes of which are: a) nobody hears or listens to what i have to say, b) people do listen, no changes actually come about and i go down in history as a hero who dedicated his life to such and such a cause, c) somebody kills me and i become a martyr against my will, or d) changes do come about, only i'm either dead or too old and decrepit to know what happened so i still die unrequited. personally that's not for me.if that's such a bad thing oh well i guess. there's my easy out. my thoughts for all they may or may not be worth.

Lance, I am not really sure how valid your comment is, basically you just seem to bitch about your own life. Honestly, that wasn't really the point. Giving up on politics is not what I advise people to do. I advise people to TAKE OVER the GOVERNMENT. Not idly sit by and say "oh well, no point"
